Yep, they threw this lush party in honor of her majestic sixtieth trip around the sun in 1992 – that’s why this park is known as “Queen’s Park.”

The shindig started in 1990 when they decided to relocate the Bangkok Meteorological Department elsewhere (I guess they needed a new place to forecast all that sunshine).

What makes this park extra posh?

It’s wrapped around a snazzy ornamental lake and boasts a collection of a dozen contemporary sculptures by talented Thai artists.

How to get there

You can reach this green oasis of awesomeness via the Phrom Phong Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain.
